❌❌ AVOID THE SCALES‼️‼️
If you have overindulged over Xmas and new year, moved less, eaten more sugary and starchy foods, drank less water …. Then YES of course the scales will be UP!
BUT … that does not mean ALL of that is actual fat gain!! The majority of it is water retention, more food volume in your body due to digestion not being as efficient you feel more bloated due to these two reasons too so more water 💦 intake will help your digestion flow too 💩😉👍👍 as will more movement so get your daily steps back up.
You feel more wobbly so you think you’ve lost muscle and gained fat?? …. ❌❌ …
Nope 👎 you haven’t you can’t lose muscle in 2 weeks!! You might FEEL weaker due to not being well fuelled from decent food and from not being hydrated but that doesn’t mean your muscle has wasted away!
ONE WEEK of … hitting your protein, drinking enough water & moving more - you will feel less bloated, less wobbly, not as weak, have more energy, and if you really must get back on the scales then they will have gone down too 👍👍
2 weeks of the year does not determine your goals the rest of the year does so get over it and get back to normal routines and you will
feel better in no time 😉💜💜
