If you aren’t eating enough calories for your body to function it will go into starvation mode after a few weeks of doing this and your weight loss will STOP. Quite often I calculate a clients daily calories and they check in a week or two later saying “ yes im doing great, ive been UNDER my calories every day by 200-300 and ive lost X amount !” Then they check in another 2 week later and say they haven’t changed in the last couple of weeks, they feel hungry, tired, lethargic and craving everything in sight!! ….. WHY??… Because you are under eating and your body is now thinking I need to reserve all the fat stores I have for energy because I am not getting enough food/calories to have any energy!
Why under eating/being under your calorie goal will NOT help you reach your goal of fat los.....
