Writer: Trainedbyabbie Trainedbyabbie

If you find that every time you try to lose weight you hate every second counting down the hours until the "diet" is over, you feel restricted and like you cant enjoy a meal out or any social events, you feel starving ALL the time, you lack in energy, you still don't feel good in yourself and continue to pick yourself apart in the mirror, you jump on the scales every opportunity using only this to track your progress and to determine whether you are worthy and doing well on your "diet" then after all of that misery you put the weight back on anyway ready to start this viscous cycle all over again in a couple of months time ............... sound like you?? read on .....

Ive been exactly there , I've yo yo dieted my whole life up until i changed my mindset 10 years ago..... I hated myself, hated my body, restricted myself, used food to self sabotage , felt worthless, I've been obsessed with how much i weigh and what size clothes i am .... heres a few tips on how to change your mindset and way of thinking to hopefully help you to not want to eat healthier to only lose weight but to actually BE and FEEL HEALTHIER!!

FOR A. BETTER HAPPIER LIFE! that should be your reason ......

not to be a certain weight why do you think by seeing a nuber all of a sudden you are going to love yourself more?? trust me you wont ... you might feel more comfortable for a short while but it wont last because the way you have gotten there is for the wrong reasons and its been done in an unenjoyable unsustainable way, there for you will start to feel shit due to lack of energy, you will be starving and end up having binges - you wont feel good or healthy so you will end up going back to what you were doing before you started this "diet". And the cycle continues. ........

5 tips to help next time you try to lose weight ........

1- Don't restrict yourself too much by under eating and avoiding social events this will lead to binges, feeling lethargic, your metabolism will slow down making it harder to lose weight, loss of muscle mass & you will be miserable!

Instead think of the 80/20 rule and eat foods that will fuel you 80% of the time and 20% of the week have a meal out/cake/dessert/glass of wine/chocs whatever your soul food is that you enjoy! Try to eat foods that are good for your body so you FEEL good, be less bloated & have lots of energy!! Try not to think constantly oh im eating this because it will help me lose weight and then hate every mouthful .... healthy food is not boring or tasteless.

2- Have a protein source and veggies /fruit with each meal to keep you fuller , prevent muscle loss, get your micronutrients in, and some carbs and/or fats for energy.

3- Drink at least 3 litres of water a day to help with digestion/joints/skin to name a few, sometimes you feel hungry when actually you are dehydrated,

4- Do progress pics & measurements every 4 -6 weeks as well or instead of using the only the scales to track your progress as if you are weight training and gaining lean muscle / losing fat then this will not show on the scales but you will look different due to changes in your body composition.

5- Move more - enjoy one of the many benefits of fuelling your better and get moving to use up that extra energy you have to in return get the amazing feeling of those endhorphins after exercise! Get outside in nature for walks, go to a class, join the gym, go for a bike ride, enter an event / go for a hike with a friend. Do something you enjoy , find something you look forward to and don't see it as a chore but your me time , your self care time.

The human body is made to move, water is our number 1 need to stay alive, we are not designed to digest highly processed high sugar foods ( i know this sounds contradicting to the above haha i mean not eating high sugar/processed foods ALL of the time!)

So many think that by doing these things you are " different" " obsessed" but actually we are just doing the very basics to take care of our human body in the way it was designed to be to have a healthy happier more full- filling life.

My programs help you to change that mindset towards a healthier one when it comes to losing weight.

Drop me a message if you'd like to chat on how i could help you.
